Photograph of Anthony "Tony" Walser; "Cigar Maker was member of Volunteer Firemen's Association. Funeral services for Anthony Walser, 79, a life-long resident and prominent figure in Decatur civic life, who died in St. Mary's Hospital Sunday afternoon, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Moran and Sons' funeral home. The body will be placed in Fairlawn Mausoleum. Friends may call at Moran's. Mr. Walser, whose home was at 125 South Church street, had been in failing health for a year, and have been seriously ill for three ......" obit 9/5/1938.
