WWII- Herald and Review Library; Culp, Lt. Robert C., 4/26/1945. Article on back of photo: "Lt. Robert C. Culp, whose wife Mary, lives at Forsyth, recently participated in missions against German targets on the Eastern front, according to word from his base in England. A son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Culp of Warrensburg, he holds the Air Medal and an Oak Leaf Cluster. He serves as a navigator with a Flying Fortress group and led attacks on communications in Berlin. Prior to entering service, he was a student at the University of Illinois."
