WWII - Herald and Review Library; Cruit, Lt. Harold E., 10/26/1942. Article on back of photo: "Harold E. Cruit, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leverett Cruit of Rt. 1, Findlay, has received his silver wings and 2nd Lt. commission at Midland, Texas, army bombardier school. Lieutenant Cruit studied at El Dorado Junior College, El Dorado, Kansas, from 1940 to 1941. He was a farmer in civilian life."
