Photograph of the E-Z Bag Co. "The land bought in 1916 by E-Z Opener Bag. Co. was north of the Wabash R.R., between the I.T.S. tracks and N. Pine St., and bounded on the north by W. Green St. Bright St. cut through the tract from Green St. to the Wabash right-of-way. This building, listed as five connection houses, faced Bright St. It was torn down when the factory was built. The address of the factory was 705-723 N. Pine St. In 1929 the E-Z Co. moved to Tuscaloosa, Ala. The factory building remained vacant until 1932 when the Field and Shorb Co. of Decatur bought the property and moved there. In 1955 the Field and Shorb Co. of Decatur bought the property and moved there. In 1955 the Field and Shorb Co. was still at that address. Photo taken in 1916."
