Herald and Review Library: Miller, Corp. Dale; Article on back of photo; "Corp. Dale Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, Maroa, has been spending a 30-day furlough with his parents. He has been in the Walter Reed hospital, Washing, D. C., since November to be treated for a wound received in the North African invasion. He was one of the 102 wounded who returned from Africa and were awarded Purple Hearts."
