Herald and Review Library: Hershfelt, Ralph; Article on back of photo; "Ralph Hershfelt, 21, son of Phil Hershfelt of 1300 Lakeshore drive, recently was transferred from a naval air station, in Michigan, where they completed their primary flight training to the naval air training center, Pensacola, Fla., for intermediate training. Upon completion of intermediate training, the cadets will receive their navy wings and will be commissioned ensigns in the naval reserve."
