Service Benton as City attorney 6 years, corporation counsel 4 years and city judge 4 years. 1941-1948 was assistant attorney general of Illinois. 1932-1926 Supt. of Illinois School for Deaf at Jacksonville, IL. 1926-1929 Supt. of Illinois soldiers and Sailors Home in Quincy. Assistant State's Attorney of Franklin County 2 years. (Information from clips, no date on photo).
