Description

Photograph of Lewis W. Stuckey, retired furniture dealer. He retired from the furniture business in 1946. He had been in the furniture business in Decatur for 41 years. He was a partner of the Weilepp & Stuckey furniture firm which opened a store in 1918 at 432 N. Water St. Later the business moved to the Suffern building, N. Main & Prairie streets, and then to 321 N. Main. In 1937 when Mr. Weilepp retired in 1946 the store was bought my Bohon and Yockey. (Information from clips) Photo by Rembrandt Studio of Decatur.
