Photograph of William A. Wallender; (died 4/10/1937). President of the Wallender-Pennington printing company. He became associated with the printing business with the firm of Wallender, Wilder, and Mattes. In 1920 he became manager of the retail store of the Inland Printing and Binding co., in Springfield, MO. and sold his interests in the Decatur firm to Wilder, Mattes, having sold out earlier. He later bought the Missouri store but sold it and came back to Decatur in 1922 to become engaged with Charles J. Pennington. He was active in Masonic work and other civic and welfare organizations. Photo ran in the Decatur Daily Review July 4, 1913 and May 20, 1928.
