Photograph of Albert T. Summers; (born: 12/21/1857; died 2/27/1916). He and his son Charles P., ran a collection agency in Decatur. He was a member of the Macon County Bar Association. He was admitted to the bar in 1880 but most of his time was taken in collection of accounts instead of law practice. He was prominent in Decatur business and secret society circles for many years. He took active part in Masonic work and also was a member of almost every other lodge in Decatur. His wife, Helen M. was regent of the Stephen Decatur Chapter, D.A.R. She was the former Helen Mary Pegram, they married 10/18/1881. Photo by VanDeventer of Decatur, ran Feb. 28, 1916.
