Later was Deputy Co. Treasurer, County Clerk. Sheriff 1918-1922. Appointed assistant Superintendent to Department Pardons and Paroles 1922-1925. Photo by VanDeventer Studio of Decatur, IL. Ran in the Herald and Review Oct. 25, 1903.
