Photograph of Henry C. Hagen (d. 8/20/1942). He was a member of the last city council before the commission form of government was established in 1911. He was a machinist who worked for Union Iron Works, Mueller Co., and Williams Sealing Corp. Hagen was active in Republican circles, and served as alderman of the 4th ward for one year. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge No. 65. His home was at 602 E. Decatur St. The photo was taken by the East End Gallery, and used by the Decatur Herald or Daily Review.
