Description
Photograph of George I. Fulk, formerly of Bethany, IL. Fulk was a lawyer by trade, but also the Macon County Chairman of the 1951 Crusade for Freedom, a delegate to the international peace conference at the Hague in 1907 under President Theodore Roosevelt, an instructor in international law at Geneva University in Switzerland for a while, the superintendent of Public Welfare for Moultrie County, and a delegate to the National Agricultural conference in Washington D.C. in 1922. He also ran for the nomination as a representative in Congress in 1932. This photo ran in the Decatur Daily Review on April 6, 1907.
