WWII - Herald and Review Library; Dixon, Sgt. Arthur G., 6/23/1943. Article on back of photo: "In New Orleans: Sgt. Arthur G. Dixon, son of Mrs. Cora Dixon, 326 S. Oakland Ave., was recently home on furlough. He has reported to the New Orleans port of embarkation where he is on cadre duty. Sergeant Dixon has been in New Orleans, LA. since March 22, 1943. A former Wabash employee, he enlisted Aug. 6, 1942 and received his training at Fort Belviour, Va. His wife, the former Frances Boyles, and two children are living at 1162 Riverside Avenue."
