Herald and Review Library: Webb, Cpl. Lloyd; Article on back of photo; "With the American soldiers ability and urge to make things homelike even in the midst of war, Cpl. Lloyd Webb, left, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Webb, 1357 East Leafland avenue, winterized his jeep for homelike comforts even down to curtains on the windows. the transformation was made with wood panels and other materials found on an enemy supply dump. Above the corporal shows his handiwork to a pal, Tech. Sgt. Owen Morgan of Chattanooga, Tenn. Both men serve in the French headquarters of the air technical service command in Europe. Corporal Webb is in charge of a large first and second echelon garage. Prior to entering service, he was employed by the Caterpillar Military Engine Co. He has been overseas 19 months."
